As the founder of Optera Advisors, David Lallemand bridges the gap between ambitious vision and measurable execution. With over 20 years of international consulting and executive leadership experience, he partners with enterprises, scale-ups, and private equity investors to navigate complex transformations.
David’s mission is simple: to drive impactful results through tailored solutions. He brings a practitioner’s perspective to every engagement, specializing in AI and digital strategy, M&A, go-to-market optimization, and private equity portfolio support. He also has deep experience with Strategic Alliances and Partnerships, and Business Process Engineering.
The Journey: From Strategy to Execution

Foundation in Strategy
After attending the prestigious ESCP Business school in Paris, David built a foundation in pure strategy at OC&C Strategy Consultants, a leading Management and Strategy Consulting firm. In 2004 he moved to New York to help launch and scale OC&C’s U.S. presence, a pivotal three-year period that helped expand his expertise into the American market.
Leadership Expertise
Driven by a desire to "get his hands dirty" and face the realities of corporate operations, David transitioned from advisor to executive. He joined Arkadin, helping it evolve into a global leader in Cloud Communication Services. Following Arkadin’s acquisition by the Japanese telecommunications giant NTT, David served as VP of Strategic Alliances for NTT Cloud Communications. There, he orchestrated a massive ecosystem of systems integrators and technology providers, scaling partner revenues.

Vonage (formely Nexmo)
As Senior Director of Partnerships, was responsible for Vonage APIs’ partnership strategy and execution and establishment of new partnerships.

Avaya
Led the CPaas Business unit where he put in place a new go to market strategy focused on Enterprise customers.
This unique blend of "Big Firm" strategy and "In the Trenches" operational leadership is what defines the Optera approach today.
